Lookhatme has designed the turban Sofia especially for warmer days and summer heat. The Sofia is a beautiful silk / viscose scarf stitched all around to a soft stretch headband made of Thermo°Cool™. Because of this, the Sofia is also called a scarf band. The scarf bands are lightweight and nice and airy on your head.
The Sofia scarf band is designed as a chemo headwear and Alopecia headwear (Totalis). Do you still have hair, then the band of Thermo°Cool™ is less suitable to use. The band of Thermo°Cool™ can move more eaily when you still have hair when knotting your scarf.
The turban comes with the scarf sewn to the band. After putting it on your head you can then wrap the scarf around your head and tie it into a chemo turban. Wrap the scarf the way you want it.
The Sofia is the summer sister of the Tania, which is has an inner chemo hat instead of a band. So for the less warm days, a Tania is often more pleasant to wear because it keeps your head warm better.
Please note that the scarf is quite fragile so make sure that there is no tension or tension on it.
If you are not so handy with knotting yourself or if you have limited hand functions, it is probably better to opt for a pre-tied chemo scarf hat such as the Mano.
